Emilie Arel Scott

Emilie Arel Scott

Chief Executive Officer

Emilie became Quidsi's CEO in 2015, after serving as head of the company's consumables and non-consumables businesses. Before joining Quidsi, Emilie was Vice President and General Manager of Kids & Brand Licensing at Old Navy, where she managed all product functions including design, tech design, merchandising, inventory management, production, and visual merchandising. Before that, she was Vice President of Stores for Old Navy's Central Territory, and led a team of 12,000+ employees and more than 220 stores. She previously held several other positions at Old Navy, focusing on new business development, licensing, and merchandising. Earlier in her career, Emilie worked in buying, merchandising, and inventory planning roles at Target Corporation for six years.

Emilie earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a dual MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and Haas School of Business in Berkeley, California.

Originally a San Francisco resident, Emilie relocated to Brooklyn with her husband, Donavin. She enjoys finding new favorite restaurants, spending time with friends and family all over the country, and traveling to anywhere with a beach.

Randy Greben

Randy Greben

Chief Financial Officer & General Manager

Randy oversees the Finance, Accounting, Tax, Inventory Management, Operations, and Marketplace functions at Quidsi with a focus on economic strategy and controllership.

Prior to joining Quidsi in 2013, Randy served as the Central Finance Director for Tesco's U.S. venture, Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, where he helped launch the L.A.-headquartered business and was responsible for FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury & Payroll. Previously, he held a number of finance roles at Taco Bell, a YUM! Brands Company, with responsibilities ranging from Strategic Planning to Field Finance support. Randy began his career in New York City managing mergers & acquisitions, primarily in a buy-side corporate environment, completing deals in the US, UK, Central Europe, Asia Pacific, and South America.

Randy earned a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from University of California, Irvine. After having lived on the West Coast for 12 years, Randy was excited to return to his New Jersey roots -- where he lives with his wife, two children, and dog -- to start a new chapter at Quidsi.

Dave Lakshmanan

Chief Technology Officer

Dave joins Quidsi from our sister company, Audible, where he served for 2.5 years as manager of all retail experiences on mobile apps and web properties. His team was also instrumental in integrating Audible into Amazon ecosystems.

Prior to Audible, Dave had a brief stint at Experian Marketing Services. He also spent over 12 years at Bloomberg, where he worked on new products that were part of the Bloomberg Professional Services. At Quidsi, Dave continues to pursue his passion for building consumer-facing products.

On the personal side, Dave loves running and playing tennis; on a nice day, you can find him on the courts with his kids. During his free time on the weekends, Dave enjoys watching NFL football with his family. Go Eagles!

Jennifer Clarke

Jennifer Clarke

Vice President, Human Resources

Jen has been with Quidsi since its early days in the cramped Montclair, New Jersey, office, and has helped build the staff from just a few employees to well over a thousand. She oversees HR operations for the corporate headquarters, three warehouses and the Beauty Bar store.

Before coming to Quidsi, Jen had more than 15 years of progressive human resources generalist experience in the publishing and media industries. She held various roles at Scholastic, Bertelsmann and Time, Inc., helping align the HR function to corporate goals and missions.

Jen attended Fairfield University in Connecticut, studying English and Art History, and has degrees in Human Resources Management from both New York University and New School University. She lives with her husband and twin daughters in Maplewood, New Jersey.

Mike Scelzo

Mike Scelzo

Vice President, Customer Care

Prior to joining Quidsi, Mike worked as Vice President of Customer Service at ThePit.com, an earlier venture started by Quidsi co-founders Marc Lore and Vinit Bharara. A graduate of Rutgers NCAS with a degree in Marketing, Mike has more than 20 years of experience in the service industry, including positions held at The Topps Company, Cablevision and the Liberty Science Center, where he helped establish all reservations and membership procedures prior to groundbreaking.

In his spare time, he enjoys acting in community theater and spending time with his wife, Debbie, and their two daughters at their home in Oradell, New Jersey.

Catherine Khan

Catherine Khan

Vice President, Strategy and Merchandising, Buying, and Creative

Cate and her teams establish site strategy and positioning, develop site content, facilitate all interactions with brands and vendors, secure vendor funding, and ensure that we remain experts on what it means to be a "modern mom." Prior to this role, Cate was the Category Leader for toys, books, and activities, where she turned around the Dance business, doubled the in-house sku count on Activities, and optimized the channel mix across all three categories to drive double-digit topline growth and triple-digit profitability growth in one year.

Earlier in her Quidsi career, Cate was the Site Leader for Diapers.com, where she oversaw the 2012 site redesign, the re-launch of the Baby Registry, the launch of the Clothing & Shoe Shop, and the launch of the Toddler Shop -- all of which contributed to strong double-digit topline growth and a near doubling of profit in a single year.

Cate graduated with distinction from Cornell University with a BS degree in marketing and business management. She is also a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she received the Joseph P. Wharton Award for Leadership and Innovation. Cate sits on the Make-a-Wish Metro NY Board of Directors. She lives in New York City with her husband, son, and daughter.

David Czehut

David Czehut

VP, Marketplace and Operations

David heads up a team that creates innovative new ways to delight Quidsi customers. Their chief duties include driving the strategic direction, day-to-day management, and financial performance of Quidsi’s sales across all external partner platforms—in addition to overseeing the operational performance of Quidsi’s fulfillment network.

David previously led the Special Operations internal consulting team at Quidsi, where he guided the successful launch of a new sales channel. He also designed and delivered a cost-effective method of rapidly scaling Quidsi’s fulfillment capacity.

David brings over a decade of financial markets and marketplace innovation experience to Quidsi. He built one of Morgan Stanley’s most productive fixed income sales teams by helping many of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions address their toughest risk management challenges. He was a founding member of financial technology start-up ExchangeCo where he designed and managed an online marketplace for enabling small-to-medium size companies to raise capital directly from accredited investors. David has a BSE in Operations Research from Princeton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He lives with his wife and daughter in Jersey City, just blocks from Quidsi headquarters, and they enjoy traveling, cycling, wine tasting, and spending time with family and friends.

Arlene Hong

Arlene Hong

General Counsel

Arlene Hong serves as the General Counsel at Quidsi, overseeing the legal department and managing all legal matters for the company and its websites. Prior to joining Quidsi, Arlene worked for e-commerce retailer Ideeli as General Counsel, Senior Vice President & Corporate Secretary. As the company's sole in-house attorney, Arlene was responsible for handling all legal affairs as well as advising the Board of Directors and senior management team. From 2001 to 2010, she served as General Counsel for the J. Crew Group, where she helped lead its highly successful IPO in 2006 and also oversaw the company's Social Responsibility Program. Earlier in her career, Arlene worked as a Corporate Associate for Windels, Marx, Lane & Mittendorf, and later, for Proskauer Rose LLP.

Arlene earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University and a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School. She currently resides in Montclair, New Jersey, just a few blocks from the original Diapers.com office.
